- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 1/4 cup catsup
- 2 Tbs. cooking oil
- 2 Tbs. Worcestershire sauce
- 3/4 tsp. dry mustard
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. parsley
Instructions
- Whisk together all ingredients except chicken. Wash chicken and prick
- several times with a fork. Place chicken in a gallon ziploc bag. Pour
- marinade over chicken in bag. Make sure bag is sealed tightly. (Suggest
- putting the marinating chicken in the cooler on Friday and cook it for the
- Saturday night dinner. The best way to cook it over a fire is to use a
- chicken basket which is like a two sided grill grate with a long handle.
- This way you can prop it over the fire and turn every 5 to 8 minutes
- basting with leftover marinade. Cook about 20 minutes depending on
- thickness of chicken. Discard marinade.
