Welcome to the Bigfoot Sightings Database!

Here you can share your experiences and explore reports submitted by others.

๐Ÿ“ฅ Submitting a Sighting

If youโ€™ve seen something unusual, use the Report a Sighting Form.

Youโ€™ll be asked for:

  • Date of Sighting โ€“ when it happened
  • Location โ€“ state, environment, and season
  • Time of Day โ€“ morning, afternoon, evening, or night
  • Classification
    • Class A โ†’ Youโ€™ll be able to add Height, Weight, Shoulder Width
    • Class B โ†’ Youโ€™ll be able to add Length and Track Width
  • Description โ€“ tell the story in your own words
  • Photo Upload โ€“ share any evidence you captured

Use the Sightings List to explore reports.

Features:

  • Each entry shows Record Number, Date, Class, and Location
  • Sort sightings by date, class, state, or other fields
  • Empty fields are hidden for a cleaner display
  • Click Full Report to read all details, including any attached photo

From the detail page, you can also:

  • Print the report
  • Download as text for saving offline

The Map View shows where sightings have occurred.

  • Each marker represents a sighting.
  • Click a marker to see its title and open the full report.

Check the Statistics Page for a big-picture look:

  • How many sightings by year
  • Sightings by class (A vs B)
  • State-by-state totals
  • Pie charts and other visual breakdowns

  • Reports are user-submitted and may vary in detail.
  • Only approved sightings appear publicly.
  • Private details (name, email, phone) are hidden from public view.
